Atlanta, Georgia, 6/9/2008 - Reflex Security, the recognized leader in comprehensive security for virtualized data centers, announced today that Pete Privateer has been appointed President and CEO effective immediately. Privateer brings more than twenty-five years of senior leadership experience in the industry, having previously held executive positions at several security technology related companies including, IBM, Intrusic, Internet Security Systems (ISS), Pelican Security, and Axent Technologies.

Moore had been serving as Interim CEO and will retain his leadership role with Reflex Security as CTO.
Before joining Reflex Security, Privateer held executive positions at many security technology companies. He was vice president of sales, for the ISS division of IBM and senior vice president of worldwide marketing and product management for ISS prior to its acquisition by IBM. He served as president and CEO at Intrusic, a venture-backed Internet security software/appliance company and Pelican Security, where he was responsible for overall strategy and operations of the company. As co-founder and senior vice president of operations for Axent Technologies, one of the first Internet security software companies, he successfully helped lead the company from start-up to successful IPO prior to its sale to Symantec.
Privateer resides in Atlanta, where Reflex Security is based.
