Pete Privateer joined Reflex Systems with more than twenty-five years of senior leadership experience in the industry. Privateer previously held executive positions at many security technology companies. He was vice president of sales, for the ISS division of IBM and senior vice president of worldwide marketing and product management for ISS prior to its acquisition by IBM. He served as president and CEO at Intrusic, a venture-backed Internet security software/appliance company and Pelican Security, where he was responsible for overall strategy and operations of the company. As co-founder and senior vice president of operations for Axent Technologies, one of the first Internet security software companies, he successfully helped lead the company from start-up to successful IPO prior to its sale to Symantec.
Hezi Moore, as Chief Technology Officer of Reflex Systems, brings more than 20 years of experience in security, networking and entrepreneurial expertise to Reflex Systems. In his role of CTO, he is responsible for shaping the company's technology strategy and defining the roadmap for future design and development of innovative, integrated network security solutions and delivering them to market. Moore led the effort to develop the industry's first Virtual Security Appliance (VSA) that provides visibility and security for virtual network infrastructure.
Prior to founding Reflex Systems, Moore was president and co-founder of MicroTech Systems - a firm specializing in network design and configuration of point-of-sale systems - which was subsequently acquired by Retail Pro of Sacramento, California. He has also held such diverse occupations as a technical support manager and research analyst for GE Technology. Moore was a pioneer of the automated network intrusion response system, the concept out of which Reflex Systems grew.
Hezi graduated with Honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology, in Atlanta, Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering.
Preston Futrell, as the Vice President of Business Development, builds and manages strategic partner relationships for Reflex Systems including technology integration, hosting and cloud service provider partners. Bringing more than 12 years of business experience in the software and network security industries, Preston was previously a sales executive for IBM Internet Security Systems (ISS), Americas Group, where his responsibilities included managing Strategic Outsourcing Services and Professional Services business for North and Latin America. Futrell was influential in the growth of ISS in the last decade and played a key role in the integration of the ISS Sales organization into IBM after their acquisition in 2006. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern University.
As Vice President of Sales, Alex Cummins manages all revenue generating activities for the company, including its channel strategy and government sales. Prior to joining Reflex, he was Vice President of Sales for the Central Region at Quest Software. Before taking over the Central, Alex managed sales teams responsible for all major accounts in the Western Region at Quest as well as direct sales for major accounts for Oracle’s Corporation. Cummins is a graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in Business and a minor in Marketing.
Laura Armistead has led Marketing for Reflex since 2007. Her track record of taking innovative companies to market made her a natural fit for VP of Marketing for the company. Prior to joining Reflex she was Director of Marketing for Securiant, an integrated network security solutions provider. With more than 11 years of marketing management experience, she launched her career in the technology hot bed area of Research Triangle Park in Raleigh, North Carolina. She has led key accounts for well-known PR firms and Ad agencies including AdMark and Brodeur Worldwide. Her experience also includes product marketing manager for SouthPeak Interactive, a computer game company, and PR Manager for HiddenMind Technology, a mobile middleware solutions company. Armistead holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Aaron Bawcom joined Reflex as Vice President of Engineering in September of 2007. Aaron is responsible for the development of products bringing more than 20 years of technological innovation experience to the company. Prior to joining Reflex Systems, he was the Chief Technology Officer of Intrusion Inc. and the Chief Architect for the Network Associates network security products division. Throughout his career Aaron has designed distributed management & storage systems, configuration management database systems (CMDB), data visualization, host & network virus detection, stateful firewalls, e-mail encryption, application firewalls, security information management systems, vulnerability assessment, network & host intrusion detection/prevention, enterprise spyware prevention, behavioral anomaly, distributed denial of service prevention, network processors, and data leak Prevention systems. Aaron is also a co-author of Virtualization for Security. He holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University.
Mike Wronski brings more than10 years of industry experience to his role as VP of Product Management for Reflex Systems. Prior to joining Reflex he held a senior information security system architect role at GE Healthcare Information Technologies, where he led a global security team in winning and deploying a $500M contract with the UK National Healthcare System. Wronski previously also held senior roles at Starent Networks, Cambia Networks, 3Com and USRobotics. Wronski holds CISSP and certified ethical hacker certifications, as well as an MBA, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Florida International University.
Lori Cooper joined Reflex Systems as Controller and Director of Human Resources in February 2007. She is responsible for accounting, human resources, and investor relations and brings more than 15 years of experience with 10 years being specifically in the software industry. Her knowledge and understanding of accounting for software companies has been an invaluable asset to Reflex. Prior to joining Reflex Systems, Lori spent 3 years leading the accounting team at Ciphertrust, Inc. and was responsible for coordinating all external audits while maintaining timely month-end financial reporting. Her diligence and knowledge of the industry helped lead to the smooth and timely acquisition of Ciphertrust by Secure Computing, Inc. Prior to Ciphertrust she spent 5 years as International Accounting Manager at MAPICS, Inc concentrating her efforts on international accounting and consolidations. Lori holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Elon University.
